Our client, a respected municipal energy supplier, has the goal of developing a sustainability index at the level of the strategic business areas and integrating it into group management. In order to realize this ambitious project, the client, together with the department and the purchasing department, is looking for consulting firms that have strong expertise in the areas of sustainability and auditing. In the energy industry, sustainability aspects are of central importance. The industry faces the challenge of ensuring a secure and reliable energy supply on the one hand, while on the other hand meeting sustainability and environmental protection requirements and targets. In this context, the development and implementation of a sustainability index represents an essential instrument for making progress toward sustainability measurable and controllable.
